We are nestled in the valley of the Northumberland Hills just outside the small village of Keene, Ontario, Canada, 30 km’ s
east of the city of Peterborough. I have owned various breeds of dogs my whole life and was introduced to the Aussie
breed 6 years ago, purchasing one as a pet . While living in the Ottawa region, I apprenticed as a dog trainer with my new Aussie puppy,
Bosco. He became my training demo dog. To date, he knows at least 82 commands. He has been trained
in agility, freestyle dance, rally O, obedience and disc dog. Two short years after I purchased my first Aussie, I thought it would be a great idea to get a second one, a female,as a companion to my male. I was now owned by two Aussies and I've never looked back. I truly love this breed and can’ t imagine my life without them. I went from pet owner and dog trainer to breeder before I knew what hit me. These versatile, Intelligent, energetic beautiful little dogs will win your heart. To ensure this is the breed for you, please take the time to learn about this breed as they are not for every household. These are highly intelligent animals that require a great deal of time, exercise, and training.
If you don't want a shadow 24/7 then don't get an Aussie.
I would like to acknowledge and thank Karen Cunningham of Cedarpaw Kennels, for without her, none of this would be possible. She introduced me to this breed and sold me my first pet Aussie. When I chose to add a second Aussie to my home, she entrusted me with my first show pup from her kennel. She has mentored me in world of conformation and breeding and continues to be a beloved friend and trusted partner in the dog show & breeding world.
I would also like to acknowledge and thank J. Kelsey Jones of MontRose Australian
Shepherds, who also took a chance on a new and upcoming Aussie enthusiast and he
entrusted me with one of his beautiful show bitches who we co-
It is my honor to work with and call these two people friends.
